If you struggle against the wave, it […] ViewGood advice….I’ve found myself in that place…where I know it’s coming and I just have to steel myself up…and it does go away. My brother died 5 months ago and my Dad just a week and a half ago…it’s been tough but somehow God gives me the strength I need to keep going…Take care….

Dad has been in the hospital for 2 weeks now […] ViewThank you for your reply….I am finding Hospice to be a great support….you’re fortunate to have been able to experience that with your brother. My brothers’ illnesses were very chronic in nature so i had no idea i’d be losing him. He’d pulled through so many times before…such a shock. It’s been a very difficult 5 months since my brother died. In that time I learned my Dad has Colon Cancer and went through surgery. I lost my brother 3 months ago and i’m just dealing the best i can with what i have.

He had been struggling with an open wound on his hip for the past 7 1/2 years ….me being his primary caregiver. idk….but i think it makes huge difference when you have been someones caretaker or had to watch the declining…[Read more]

My brother passed away two months ago. He was under Hospice care for the last month of his life. The hospice doctor told him he only had a couple of days to live but he was a fighter and it took more than a month before he died.
